He is survived by: his son Derrick Sturdivant; his brothers, Chuck Garren, Larry Hutson, Ronnie Garren and Jim Sturdivant; his close friend George Berry; his wife Janis Sturdivant; his children, Sarah (Jonathan), Brad (Misty) and Mike Sturdivant (Chrissy); his grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Alex, Adam, Vann and Noah; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Sadie, Brynlee, Stella, Crew and Sophia.
