He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles S. Hicks III and JoAnn Cummings Hicks; and his brothers, Steven Hicks and Terry Gene Pemberton. He is survived by: his brothers, Stan Hicks and Chris Hicks of Senath, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
