She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Taylor and Frank Taylor of Smithdale, Mississippi.; her husband Sherill Smith; and her siblings, Cecil Taylor, Morie Delaughter and Bobbie Dyess.
She is survived by: her daughter Terry Strain (Allen); her grandchildren, Cory (Erica), Andrew and Stephen (Alex); her daughter Sherri Bull (Sonny); her grandsons, Justin (Meredith) and Brian (Devin); her daughter Lisa Watson (Steve); her grandsons, Hunter (Charlene), Alex (Hannah) and Ben; her daughter Leigh Polanski (Matt); her grandchildren, Morgan (Derrick), Grayson (Avery) and Cameron; her great grandchildren, Nora Grace, Chandler, Layla, Bronson, Jake, Sophie Strain, Jaxson, Nash, Brooks, Brayden, Sutton, Daxton Bull, Tuff Dodson, Silas, Asa Sadler, Miller, Madden Curnutte and Kane Gray Polanski; her sisters, Jonita Hancock, Shirley Schaal (Allen) and Peggy Hartsfield (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Jay Dyess, Lancy Smith (Judy), Michael Smith (Pat) and Linda Sue Ryan.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Methodist Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
