She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Holm and Alva Holm; her husband Claud Lee Cates; her sons, Mike and Paul Cates; her nephews, Marvin and Wendall Andrews; and her sister June Andrews.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Cates, Sean Cates and Rodney Hutchinson; her grandchildren, Joseph Cates, Megan Cates-Ripley, Ethan Cates and Nicholas Cates; her great grandchild Joseph Cates III; her brother Jimmy Holm; and her sister-in-law Lee Cates.
