It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Anna Wilcox of Jacksonville, Arkansas, born in McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 3, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William "Jim" James and Mary Jane McWaters (Cacy); her husband Jeff Wilcox (McAlester); her daughter Lauren Guy (Joshua Guy); her grandchildren, Maddox, Brooks and Annistyn Guy; her son Shelby Wilcox (Nikole); her grandchild Xander Wilcox; and her siblings, Jerri, Roy and Lee McWaters.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Arkansas Women Band Directors Association to help High School Seniors majoring in music in college (AWBDA C/O Judy Harkrider 352 Lower Rodge Road, Conway, AR, 72032).
