She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert E. Mitchell and Mary Jo Mitchell; and her brother Michael A. Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Ricky Wood; her daughters, Sally Jo Pryor (Dwayne) of Jacksonville and Shelly Marie Worden of Quitman; her grandchildren, Glory Jo Horn, Katy Pryor, Jamie Worden and Michelle Worden; her great grandchildren, Kimber Ann Stage and Lana Faye Woodrome; and her siblings, Gina Hinkson (Johnny), Cheryl Head and Steve Mitchell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Stanfill Baptist Church (12905 Fortson Rd, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Stanfill Cemetery (12905 Fortson Rd, Jacksonville, AR 72076).
