She is survived by: her father John Sutherland of Mississippi; her husband Blake Palmer; her son Jonathan Palmer; her mother Jan Hughes; her siblings, Julie Coady and David Ponder (Laurie) of Sherman; her mother-in-law Kerry; her stepfather-in-law Judge John Ward; her father-in-law Ray Palmer; her sister-in-law Mollie Palmer; her aunt Pat; and her uncle Jimmy Counce. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Children's and Youth Ministries at Park Hill Baptist church.
