It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Rose Witzofsky Proffer of Jacksonville, Arkansas, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Witzofsky and Anna Gardie Witzofsky; her husband Donald H. Proffer; her son David J. Proffer; and her brothers, George, Robert and Richard Witzofsky.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Proffer, Robert Proffer (Sharon) of Florissant, MO and Susan Proffer Hill (Danny) of Beebe; her sister Margaret Witzofsky Nicolas of Lebanon, MO.; her grandchildren, Beverly, Jimmy, Laura, Katie, Matt, Ryan, Andy and Steven; and her friends, Mike and Jerry Ochoniky (Don DuPont). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, 12 bonus great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
