He is survived by: his wife Velma Thacker; his children, Merrick Thacker (Paula) of Justin, Charles Thacker (Sherra Kay) of Sulphur, Robert Thacker (Stella) of Louisa and Amy Bryant (Hurley) of Conway, Arkansas; and his sisters, Justina Blackburn of Ann Arbor, Veta Moore of Louisa and Olivia Gay Preece (Don) of Louisa, Kentucky. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
