With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammye Rorex Wilson of Jacksonville, Arkansas, who passed away on March 12, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest "Dink" Miller and Edna Rorex Miller (Rorex) of Carlisle, AR; and her siblings, Teresa Bolick of Charlotte, NC and Forrest Bernie Miller MD. She is survived by: her husband Mike Wilson of Jacksonville; her sister Jessica Thompson of Ashville, NC; her children, David Frazier (Kimberly) of Tampa, FL and Tiffany Warmouth of Jacksonville; her stepchildren, Kenneth Wilson (Phoebe), Matthew Wilson of Charleston, SC, Liza Wilson of Austin, TX and Corrie Wilson of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Jack, Emily, Caroline and Joe; and her great grandchildren, Layna and Jessa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sammye's honor can be sent to St. Stephen's Episcopal in Jacksonville and/or The Nature Conservancy.
