It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Vonn Mayfield (Jacksonville, Arkansas), who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Mayfield and Elizabeth Collins; his wife Patricia Mayfield; his children, Jimmy Mayfield (Joanne), Connie Jellison, Julie Adair, Stephen Mayfield, Jr. and Charles Mayfield (Holly); his grandchildren, Daniel Adair (Sara), Amanda Lewis (Blake), Jared Mayfield, Lucas Mayfield and Benjamin Mayfield; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Adair, Thurman Lewis, Parker Mayfield, Samuel Adair, Forest Adair, Mona Adair and Nora Adair.
The family requests donations be made in Stephens honor to the Little Rock Compassion Center.
