He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Franklin Spidle and Lucille Josephine Jordan-Spidle; his wife Jacqueline Jean Neel; his son Michael Spidle; his sister Bernice Chapman; his children, Deborah Abramovitz (Richard), Theresa Spidle, Dorothy Spidle, Stephen Spidle, Michelle Cox and Elizabeth Minshall (Jon); and his sister Maryann Rouch (Larry). He was also cherished by 15 grandkids.
