We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2025, at the age of 92, Vera T. Gray of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Vera had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Vera may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ed Tompkins, L. C. Tompkins, James Tompkins and Margie Kelly. She is survived by: her children, Richard Gray of Little Rock, Karen Simpson of Scott and Julia Watt of Little Rock; her foster son George Belew (Jeannie); and her sister-in-law Betty Tompkins of Jacksonville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
