He is survived by: his daughter Melissa McBride Cross (Troy); his grandchildren, Hayley Cross Whidden (Doug), Alivia Cross, Opie, Abel Whidden and Ava May; his siblings, Teena Vise (Jon) and Tommy McBride; and his close friend Rick Davis.
