It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William H. Ballard III of Jacksonville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ballard II and Betty Ballard (Rife); and his sister Peachy Long. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ballard (Johnston); his sons, David Ballard (Brittney) of Cabot and Greg Ballard (Lina) of Springdale; his grandsons, Mark of Springdale, Matthew of Springdale and Michael of Springdale; and his siblings, Judy Daniels of North Carolina, Tammy Long of North Carolina, Dee Pigg of North Carolina and Bob Long of West Virginia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (1504 N J P Wright Loop Rd, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
