He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Margaret (Borth); his spouse Elaine "Peachy" Reetz; his son Michael; and his brothers, LeRoy, Theodore, Fred, Jr. and Gerald.

He is survived by: his sister Marlene Krenz (Gerald); his sister-in-law Loretta Seidler (LeRoy); and his children, Keith Seidler (Wanda) of Spicer, Gail Knutson (Dale) of Ramsey, Rodney Seidler of Jacksonville and Stephanie Barnes (Steve) of Jacksonville, Arkansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
