He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Daniel and Margaret Daniel (Crawford); his brother Richard; and his nephews, John and Tommy Daniel.

He is survived by: his sister Betty Ann Thomas (Daniel); his wife Corene Daniel of Mabelvale, Arkansas; his children, Corena Dawn Johnson (Jay) of Mabelvale, Kevin Wayne Daniel of Mabelvale and Chad Daniel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Lauren Ellis (Hunter), Corey Daniel, Daniel Keith Johnson, Ashley (Johnson), Edmondson (Carson), Kaylen, John Wayne and Justin Daniel; and his children, Paisley, Ava and Briar Ellis.
