It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Tate of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Lafe, Arkansas, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Horton and Jessie Horton (Powers); her husband Donald Tate; her siblings, Carroll Horton, Rachel Witherington and Barbara Riley; and her son-in-law Jim Farmer.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Farmer of Jonesboro, Donna, Jeff Hohn of Midway and Shane Tate of Pennington; her grandchildren, Natalie Hohn, Joey of Newport, Derek, Brittany Osborn of Jonesboro and Lacy (Jason Gates) of Newport; her great grandchildren, Willa Addington of Newport and Ava Gates of Newport; her nephew Mickey Riley of Tuckerman; her niece Susan Riley of Tuckerman; and her cousin Frankie Ann Coots of New Holstein, Wisconsin..
