Billy Gene Birdsell Obituary
We announce the death of Billy Gene Birdsell of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 82. Billy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. Birdsell and Aline Birdsell; his wife Jackie Birdsell; his son Timothy Spence; and his siblings, Bobby Birdsell, Catherine Morris, Carolyn Kiplinger and Ellen Birdsell.
He is survived by: his children, Dallas "Butch" Spence of Jonesboro, Regina Marie Spence of Delaware, Ginger Davis (Greg) of Houston and Kim Birdsell of Jonesboro; and his sister Hazel Kennedy of Memphis, Tennessee. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the NEA Humane Society in Jonesboro, a cause close to their hearts.
