He is survived by: his wife Nelda Simpkins (Collins); his sons, Rick Simpkins (Sherry), Randy Simpkins (Denise) and Kevin Simpkins (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jared Simpkins (Alisha), Lasha Simpkins, Lindsie Medlock, Shalyn Simpkins, Dustin Simpkins (Hannah) and Sarah Tackett (Brian); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kelley (Caleb), Cade Simpkins, Kyra Reece, Grace Ishmael, Kennedy Beth Simpkins, Ellie Tackett, Tripp Simpkins and James Tackett; his great great grandchild Coen Jack Kelley; his sister Winona Kifer; and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Gerber, Faye Westmoreland, Sherry Turman (Rick), Ellis Collins of Jonesboro and Cletis Collins of Jonesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
