Brenda Louise Hetler Obituary

Brenda Louise Hetler, 74, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on October 11, 2022 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on October 3, 1948 in Paragould, Arkansas to Marvin and Willie Baldwin Jones. Brenda was a member at the Eastside Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was a chairman for Daffodil Day which brings hope to cancer patients, caregivers, and families, also she worked with patients in hospice care. She worked for Relay for Life and was also a part of the Latch Key Program. Brenda enjoyed sewing, baking, taking photos, and crafting.

Survivors include; one son: Lynn Hetler (Getta); three grandchildren: Jessica Van Kirk (Mike), Kristina Mora (Daniel) and Justin Hetler; three great grandchildren: Ayden Van Kirk, Alexandra Van Kirk, and Maelynn Mora; one sister: Becky Fortenberry: lifelong friend: Sharon Hollis; and a host of other family and friends.

Brenda is preceded in death by; her husband: Phillip Lee Hetler; her parents: Marvin Mack Jones and Willie Louise Shelton; one sister: Pearl Lamb; and one brother: Marvin Hugh Jones.

Pallbearers: Sam King, John Jones, Bobby Ball, Shawn Blanchard, Greg Hogg, and Perry Greenway.

Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Baker, Jimmy Hogg, Wayne Dollar, Gary Furnish, Pete Clark, John Hollis, Jerry Koster, and Conrad Mobley.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Leger officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas.
