She is survived by: her husband Larry Newman; her children, Thomas Newman, Margaret Newman, Teresa Newman and Stephanie Newman; her granddaughter Lily Waddell; and her sisters, Charlotte Sosa and Mary Seal. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
