He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Blackwell and Dorothea Blackwell. He is survived by: his daughter Lorre Gookin (Gary); his grandchildren, Erica Gookin Collins (Chris), Emma Gookin Mason (Taylor) and Alex Gookin; and his siblings, Phillip Blackwell and Janelle Davis (Bill). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
