She was predeceased by: her parents, Nola Harris Johnston and Harold Johnston; and her siblings, Thomas Neil, James Warren Johnston and Mary Nell Veeder.
She is survived by: her husband Don McGuirt; her brother Wendell Johnston (Sandy) of Stokes; and her nephews, Patrick Johnston of Cabot and Tanner Johnston (Anna) of Pocahontas. She is also survived by numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends, and by her beloved church family.
