Cassandra Dacus Obituary

Cassandre "Cassie" Goodwin Dacus of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on January 21, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. Cassandra grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a devoted grandmother, an avid wrestling fan, and was an animal lover who fostered dogs and cats.

She leaves behind; her mother: Sandra Howard; her daughter: Jamie Donaldson; her granddaughter: Lorelei Gribble; her daughter: Lori Pruitt; her ex-husband: Albert Dacus; her stepson: Albert Dacus, Jr.; her son: Nathan Ferguson; her sister: Denise Barnes (Greg); her brother: Stacy Ray (Allison). She, also, leaves behind Hannah Baker who was like a daughter to her and who cared for Cassandra during her illness until her death.

She was preceded in death by; her father: Danny Goodwin; her sister: Jennifer Goodwin; and her daughter: Heather Vallance.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025. Time and place is pending.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donation be made to a pet rescue center or a wrestling school of the donor' choice.
