It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Tanner of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jerald Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Tanner (Jean); his wife Nancy Dantas Tanner (Sabina) of Iquitos; and his siblings, James Tanner Jr. and Charlotte Finney.
He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Winters; and his children, Ariana Dantas, Luciana Dantas and Moises Dantas of Iquitos, Peru. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, cousins, friends.
