She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Lyons and Claire Lyons; and her sister Barbara Conner. She is survived by: her former spouse Bo Conner; her husband John Payne; her children, Andrea Payne Reid (Phillip) and John Payne, Jr. (Natalie); her grandsons, Wyatt and Owen; and her brother Jim Lyons (Birgit Knutsen).
