He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Turpin and Pauline Turpin (Carney); his daughter Misty Turpin; and his siblings, Denvard Turpin, Barbara Olivier and Faynette Cross.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Turpin (Kious); his sons, Dustin Turpin (Bridgette) and Jason Stone (Nicole); his grandchildren, Dylan Wann, Keaton Stone, Isaac Stone, Carder Stone, Ella Stone and Remie Stone; his siblings, Jackie Turpin, Willa Jean Grammer and Geraldine Farmer; and the mother of his children Janice Williams.
