It is with sadness that the passing of Debra Sue Tackett (Jonesboro, Arkansas) is shared. Debra, born on August 26, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on September 25, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Lee Carter and Patricia Marie Carter (Irvin Tackett Jr.); her husband Irvin Tackett Jr.; her daughter Christina Clark; and her brother Bobby Beard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Steve Copeland, Steve Carter, Don Carter, Ronald Carter and Diane Cox; her children, Renee Tackett and Timothy "Tim" Tackett; her grandchildren, Destini "Skyy", Alexis, Leslie, Aidan, Braxton and Aubrey; and her great grandchildren, Kylee, Eden, Charles "Charlie", Blakely and Sloane.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
