We are sad to announce that, on August 18, 2025, at the age of 79, Dennis Alan Kurtz of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dennis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dennis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Leroy and Pearl Elizabeth Kurtz (Deets); his wife Linda Smith Kurtz; and his grandson Andrew Steelman. He is survived by: his children, Brian Andrew Kurtz of Downers Grove, IL, Rebecca Jane Owens (Ed) of Andrews, TX and Ronald George Kurtz (Heather) of Jonesboro, AR.; his stepchildren, Lisa Wood (Doug) and Steven Perkins; his brothers, Dale Leroy Kurtz (Michelle) of New York and Douglas Elmer Kurtz of Flushing, NY.; and his former wife Judith Ann Kurtz Crow (Funk). He is also survived by Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
