She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Waddell and Thelma Waddell; her former husband Paul Elkins; her husband Donald Buchanan; her son Dennis Elkins; and her sisters, Judy Warnick and Peggy Waddell.
She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Elkins (Courtney) of Jonesboro, Sherry Qualls (Guy) of Jonesboro, Paula Neville (James) of Lufkin and Crystal Busby (Daniel) of Jonesboro; her sisters, Herberta Hartness (Richard) of Jonesboro and Pam Fletcher (Mike) of Jonesboro; and her granddaughters, Jill Wooten of Jonesboro and Starla Williams (Cade) of Jonesboro. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
