She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne M. Grommet of Jonesboro; her parents, Harold Petitt Nelson and Mary Ellen Groome Nelson of Pine Bluff; and her siblings, Kenneth Nelson of Little Rock, Harold "Hal" Nelson of Memphis, Betsy Nelson, Mary Lynn Webb of Pine Bluff and Anne Pick of Salem.
She is survived by: her son Michael Grommet (Cindy) of Jonesboro; her sister Jane Johnson (Mark) of Fayetteville; and her granddaughters, Abigail, Emily, Kristen and Caitlyn Grommet of Jonesboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
