Ernest Isom Obituary

Ernest "Rick" Isom, 67 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on January 8, 2023. He was born on August 20, 1955 in Paragould, Arkansas to Thomas E. Isom and Wavie J. Hall. Rick was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed visiting churches, going to the breakfast club with his buddies, and hanging out with his grandchildren.

Survivors include; mother: Wavie J. Thomas; one daughter: Heather (Danny) Baldridge; one son: Chris (Amanda) Isom; four grandsons: Cole Baldridge, Andrew Baldridge, Cade Isom, and Logan Isom; two sisters: Patricia Isom and Debbie (Vernon) Finley; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his father: Thomas E. Isom; two brothers: Bill Isom and Ronnie Isom; and one sister: Linda Jones.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Cemetery in Bono, Arkansas with Pastor Ernest Cornish officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Bernards Foundation Cancer Center.
