With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Edwards Sr. (Jonesboro, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 83. Though Fred may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Fred touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
