It is with sadness that the passing of Glenda Leoda Romine of Jonesboro, Arkansas is shared. Glenda, born on August 18, 1940, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Edmond Burke and Beulah Corine Burke (Wiseman); and her son Allan Dale Romine. She is survived by: her children, Terry Romine (Cleta) of Clarksville, TN, Lynetta Romine (Al Heimsoth) of Jonesboro and Nathan Romine (Vickie) of Hoxie; her grandchildren, Shelly Davis (Bill), Aalesha Drake (Jason), Callan Romine (Mandy), Katie Romine, Bray Felton (Jeremie), Krystan Bennett (Brandon Morriss) and Matt Dorton (Jill); and her siblings, LaVita Polk, LaVon Long (David), Dwayne Burke (Margaret) and Derrell Burke (Elaine). She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
