With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ina Martha Cooper of Jonesboro, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Hendrix and Laverne King Hendrix; her brothers, Russel Hendrix, Joe Hendrix and Tommy Hendrix; and her brother-in-law Jerry Burnett.
She is survived by: her spouse W. E. Cooper; her son Eddie Cooper (Kathy) of Jonesboro; her grandson Dr. Brandon E. Cooper (Stacy) of Wynne; her great grandchildren, Brendan and Reese; her sister Peggy Burnett of Jonesboro; and her sisters-in-law, Wanda Hendrix and Earline Hendrix. She is also survived by niece, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home (300 W Matthews Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Arkansas Children's Hospital—two organizations close to Ina's heart.
