As Ivone departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ivone may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ivone leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Catterlin and Alpha Catterlin (Anderson); her siblings, Charles Catterlin and Ann Walls; and her grandson Brian Bumpous.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Dobbs of Newport, James "Stud" Matthews (Kay Bowen) of Newport, Marcelino Sauseda Jr. (Anna) of Newport and Tony Sauseda (Olga) of Bryan, Texas; and her sister Brenda Bridgeman of Newport. She is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
