He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Dub" Hardin and Dorthea Hardin; his son William Chad Hardin; and his brother Gary Hardin. He is survived by : his daughters, Tina Michelle Hardin Rice of Paragould and Carrie Edwards (Sam) of Marion; his brother Lynn Hardin (Rose) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Skylar, Kendra, Brittney, Makayla of Ashlynn, CJ, JJ, Chris, Heather and Austin E. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
