With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce Ann Mize of Jonesboro, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joyce Ann left this world on October 21, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Throgmorton and Louise Throgmorton; her husband Jimmie Dewayne Mize; and her siblings, James, Edward Thomas, Dortha and Alice Throgmorton.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamula Kristina Mize of Jonesboro; her sister Polly Earnhart of Jonesboro; and her niece Michelle Earnhart. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Friendly Hope Baptist Church (4015 Friendly Hope Rd, Jonesboro, AR 72404). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization Joyce deeply admired for the work they do for children and families. Make a donation to one of the following charities in remembrance of Joyce Ann Mize.
