Kenneth R. Clay Obituary
Kenneth R. Clay, age 70, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on July 25, 2026 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 11, 1956 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Johnnie R. Clay and Shirley G. Clay (Tucker). Kenneth was a member of the Church of Christ in Bono, Arkansas.
He had a bachelors in Bible and Psychology studies from Harding University and a master's in religion from Harding Graduate School of Religion with a major in counseling. He was a United States Navy veteran. He worked in the mental health and counseling field and had been on the board of directors of numerous agencies. He was a member of the sons of the American revocation, serving terms as president and vice president, member of the sons of confederate veterans Robert G. Shaver Camp of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He is survived by; his children: Phillip Clay of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Terry Clay of Searcy, Arkansas; one sister: Lynnette Cates (Paul) of Midwest City, Oklahoma; two brothers: Richard Clay of Westfork, Arkansas and Randall Clay (Kathy) of West Jordan, Utah; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his parents: Johnnie R. Clay and Shirley G. Clay (Tucker).
The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
