Lawrence Keith Nelson Obituary

Lawrence Keith Nelson, age 59, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on August 19, 2026 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on September 26, 1966 in Racine, Wisconsin to Lawrence Kramer and Lucy (Jaskulsky) Nelson.

Keith enjoyed tinkering with anything automotive and was both a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He was formally employed by Bailey Diesel Pump where he was known by the agriculture community for his vast knowledge of working on diesel pumps and injectors. One of his greatest joys was just spending time with his family and friends and always looked forward to the fall season to get together with them for meals and playing cards.

Survivors include; loving wife: Candy Walker Nelson of the home; four sons: Marcus Simonton of Alexander, Louisiana, Chris Nelson of Lafayette, Louisiana, Daniel Nelson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Todd Thompson (Mikah) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Duke Nelson of Trumann, Arkansas; two sisters: Marsha Nelson of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin and Victoria Nelson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; his emotional support friend: Jo Jo; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Lawrence Kramer and Lucy Nelson; and one brother: Marshall Leroy Nelson III.

The family request that lasting memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
