He was predeceased by: his parents, Arizona Layton and Louis B. Layton; and his brother Charles Layton. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Layton; his children, Dr. Kye Layton, Amanda Knight (Matt) and Rebecca Welch (Andy); his sister Martha Lewis; and his granddaughters, Ella Layton, Elise Knight and Sarah Welch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
