It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyce Gibson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Brookland, Arkansas, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gambill and Aleen Gambill (Nall); and her husband Ed Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Marlette Stevenson (Bob James) and Kent Gibson (Dana); her grandchildren, Cole Stevenson (Whitney), Kenna Gibson Watts (Sheridan) and Dia Gibson Watson (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Alton, Talon, Zayden, Kaia, Charlotte and Vivien; and her sisters, Mary Garrett and Sue Cook.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in honor of Loyce to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House of Jonesboro.
