It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Smith of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lucille shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lucille farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse A. Manning and Ollie Virginia Campbell Manning; her sister Geraldine Holloway; and her niece Ellen Hendrix. She is survived by: her daughter Millie Brown (Billy) of Jonesboro; and her great-nephews, Eric Hendrix, Scott Hendrix and Mark Hendrix.
