She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhea Lomax and Lois Lomax; and her brother Peary Lomax. She is survived by: her husband William Stanley "Bill" Cox, Jr.; her children, Sammye Pagan (Jeff) of Jonesboro, AR and Buddy Cox (Gina) of Birmingham, AL; her sister Dr. Rebecca Lomax (Frank Weicks); her grandchildren, Matt Pagan (Elisabeth), Jonathan Pagan of Fayetteville, AR, Peary Cox (Tiffany) of Richmond Hills, GA, Tyler Cox (Hannah) of Colorado Springs, CO and Emily Cox of Nashville, TN; and her great grandchildren, Madison Jane Cox, Jordan Patrick Cox and Owen Matthew Pagan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
