It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Bertrand (Jonesboro, Arkansas), born in Hickory Plains, Arkansas, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, P. V. Gunter and Thelma Gunter (Hamric); her brothers, Elton Gunter, Johnny Gunter and Les Paul Gunter; and her son-in-law Loren Hurst.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robbie Hurst, Marcia Hunter (Billy) and Kimberley Mosbey (Kerry); her grandchildren, Jon-David Hurst, Ashley Cullum, Callie Fritts (Brett), Britney Austin (Darran), Micah Hunter (Erika), Justin Mosbey (Paige) and Janae Capshaw (Brady); her great grandchildren, Grayson, Hannah Taylor, Amelia Cullum, Kaiden, Kylor Fritts, Rook, Reese, Rylann, Ridge Austin, Khaleesi, Declan Mosbey, Emerson and Sutton Capshaw; and her sister Hazel Gunter Quick of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Marie's name to Hickory Plains Church of Nazarene, c/o of Jim Hamric, 13160 Highway 13, Ward, AR 72176.
