He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gipson and Bessie Gipson (Tisdale); and his brothers, Leon, Jimmy and Bobby Gipson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty White (Jim), Patricia Agee (Charlie), Karen Woodruff (Randy), Larry (Mona), Gary (Mary) and Jerry Gipson (Pat); and his brothers-in-law, Charlie Agee, Jim White and Randy Woodruff.
