She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Ward and Mary Oza Ward; her husband Howard Bannister Alderson; her sister Irma Ann Watt; her in-laws, Howard M. and Lena Alderson; and her grandson Jeffery Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Morgan Alderson (Melinda), David Alderson (Maurie) of Stuttgart, Nancy Wagner (Jim) and Susan Scott of Jonesboro; and her friends, Margaret Ann and Harry Beck. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Turpin Funeral Home (1107 W 22nd St, Stuttgart, AR 72160). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
