He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Tolbert Wright Sr. and Dovie Wright; his sister Vivian Howard; and his nephews, Tydarell Howard and Rodrick Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Lasley of Jonesboro, Tara Gibson of Dallas, Texas and Tyrone Alcorn of Boston, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Jamica Brown (Lester), Jerico Wright, Kowan Wright and Journee Gibson; and his great grandchild Jakaylen "Spike" Wright.
