She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Steiger and Bettie Steiger; and her granddaughter Kathleen Felicity. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Steve Emerson; her sons, Brandon Emerson (Amanda) of Ovilla, Texas, Bryan Emerson (Renee) of St. Charles, Missouri and Blake Emerson (Victoria) of Crestview, Florida; her siblings, Marcie Hatfield (Stephen) of Highland Village, Texas, Mike Steiger (Kay) of Arlington, Texas and Mary Beth Wilson (David) of Corsicana, Texas; and her grandchildren, Elijah, Susan, June, Evangeline, Wendy, Diana, Sarah Beth, Joey, Barnabas, Danielle and Luke.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (3707 Harrisburg Rd Suite 1205, Jonesboro, AR 72404).
